If you have a microscope you can check and pin point the peak of ovulation and precise and exact time for breeding, this is the pattern to look for when looking under a microscope at 40X what you do is get a little bit of the dogs saliva and put it on the glass and let it dry for 10 minutes, this pattern is what you look for when the female "bitch" is ovulating and ready for breeding, this is one of the ways I check to see when my English bulldog is ready for breeding in Mauiexpo kennel This works just as perfect as progesterone testing on English bulldogs and dogs of any breed.
